Classic 60’s: Show 215

You know Bo Diddley said it right, you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.  You can’t judge the 60’s by the hype.  It’s about to get REAL in the Playhouse tonight! Boosie digs into some deep cuts from the headliners of this decade and introduces two new artists to the show: Little Johnny Taylor and Christine Kittrell.

Christine did some work with Joe Turner and Little Richard in the 50’s, then decided to entertain the troops over in Vietnam, a move that almost cost her her life!  Her haunting melodies are the main course for tonight’s dish.

Also joining Christine and Little Johnny, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Little Junior Parker, Led Zeppelin, The Animals, John Lee Hooker, and more…
